What do we do?

Food, Education and Job Opportunities

Problems are multifaceted.

We believe in sustainable growth by providing food, education and job opportunities.

Through a system of community leaders, local foundations, wholesalers, private businesses and government forces we are able to turn donations into efficient food-aid and english education without overhead nor admin costs.

To date we have delivered more than 307,000 meals to communities hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Transparency & Efficiency

important for
us and for you

When the pandemic hit, so did initiatives to help. Low transparency of donation spendage and low efficiency amongst charities cause a worldwide resistance against donating.

You deserve to keep sight of your donation and the impact that it creates, which is why we make our spendage documentation visible to everyone.

You also deserve an efficient handling of your donation, which is why we are fully volunteer-run and have agreements with wholesalers to bring admin and logistics costs to zero.

Kindfootprint in the media

In this TeleMedellín coverage of one of our projects: Medical Brigades, you can see a little of how this is carried out and the impact it has on the community. In this specific brigade 112 people benefited from different services such as: general medicine, psychology, legal advice, EPS advice, and delivery of medicines.

NON-FUNGIBLE TOKEN

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT’s) are the picassos of the digital era.

Unique digital images traded on the blockchain including custom unlockable content for every artpiece bought.

Real human moments photographed and decorated by a renowned Colombian Artist in a way that reflects the personality of the person on the picture.

An artsy reflection of a personality based on an interview with the person photographed, drawn on their picture.

NFT for Humanity is a win-win-win cycle through which Empower the Barrios uses local art to convert it into NFTs.

All proceeds of NFTs sold by Empower the Barrios will go to the local artist and to humanitarian aid for their area, following the same core values of transparency and efficiency as always.
