Who We are
Kind footprint is a U.S.-based nonprofit with a grassroots Humanitarian aid project in Colombia called Empower the Barrios. With our project ‘Empower the Barrios’ we are seeking to reach families with limited resources in neighborhoods of strata 1 and 2 of Medellin and the metropolitan area. With more than 250,000 meals delivered with a transparency of %100 and an effectiveness of 97.6%, we are improving people’s quality of life without administrative expenses.
We are looking for a General Assistant to volunteer to join our team. We are looking for proactive, dynamic and team orientated people with great organizational skills, used to handling multiple tasks, with a marked attention to detail and above all things that want to help improve people’s quality of life through Empower the Barrios.
We are searching for a reliable and trustworthy volunteer to join our organization. The volunteer’s responsibilities will include completing tasks assigned by the team leaders, upholding the organization’s values, and assisting with the day-to-day running of the organization. You should be able to work well as part of a team, follow instructions, and improve the overall operations of the organization.
The role will give you the chance to work with a growing and innovative team of volunteers from a whole range of cultural and professional backgrounds. The team is young, dynamic and full of people who are inspired to use their skills to change the world for the better. The organization is also motivated by the idea of using their resources to a high degree of efficiency and you will have the opportunity to see this work being doing at first hand.
Please Note: This is an UNPAID role. Financially at least, you will receive payment in a whole range of other forms. Main activities but not limited to
- Support members of the Board of Directors with the day-to-day running of the organization
- Assist the marketing team in any marketing efforts needed
- Attend internal and external meetings as required
Personal specification for Assistant Volunteer
- Excellent organisational skills
- An Understanding of non-profit organizations or experience working with vulnerable communities
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Flexible approach to working
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-awareness and able to use initiative
