Who We are
Kind footprint is a U.S.-based nonprofit with a grassroots Humanitarian aid project in Colombia called Empower the Barrios. With our project ‘Empower the Barrios’ we are seeking to reach families with limited resources in neighborhoods of strata 1 and 2 of Medellin and the metropolitan area. With more than 250,000 meals delivered with a transparency of 100% and an effectiveness of 97.6%, we are improving people’s quality of life without administrative expenses.
We are looking for volunteers to accompany the children of our ‘Educate the Barrios’ program. Our program already has a teacher who is in charge of teaching English to the children enrolled in the program, however we would like to make the classes different by having support in each class of volunteers who can contribute to the children’s learning through new dynamics. and the interaction of people with different accents every day.
Main Activities but not limited:
- Help the teacher to teach the class
- Help to understand the language
- Attend classes regularly (availability in the afternoon to attend face-to-face classes)
- Be committed to the program
- Be English C1 or higher
