Who We are
Kind footprint is a U.S.-based nonprofit with a grassroots Humanitarian aid project in Colombia called Empower the Barrios. With our project ‘Empower the Barrios’ we are seeking to reach families with limited resources in neighborhoods of strata 1 and 2 of Medellin and the metropolitan area. With more than 250,000 meals delivered with a transparency of 100% and an effectiveness of 97.6%, we are improving people’s quality of life without administrative expenses.
In partnership with Help Colombia. We are running Code For Life project. Code For Life is a non-profit project that seeks to train young people between 15 – 18 years old (Men and Women) in web development, providing them with food support in order to reduce desertion and connecting them with job opportunities and thus guide them to a profession in growing demand nationally and internationally.We are looking for a Web Development Tutor with HTML, CSS, PHP and Python experience to volunteer to join the team that will support our classes.
Main Activities but not limited:
- Help the teacher to teach the class
- Identify which programming language is best suited to each student
- Attend classes regularly (availability in the afternoon to attend face-to-face classes)
- Be committed to the program
- Be Spanish B1 or higher
Job type: In-person in El Poblado, Medellín, Colombia
Time commitment: once a day for 2-4 hours. Monday or Friday from 3-7 PM Colombia Time
